Movie screening: the last Sky
On Monday, November 18, 2024, activists are hosting a screening of the film The Last Sky, followed by a discussion with the filmmakers, at Pakhuis de Zwijger. The Palestinian producer of the documentary, Rihab Charida, will be with us in person.
In this hard-hitting debut documentary, Lebanese Australian lawyer Nicholas Hanna explores these questions and the crucial context of the Israel-Palestine conflict that is largely ignored by the mainstream media. The Last Sky focuses on the highly relevant yet largely overlooked perspective of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, who share their insights with refreshing candour and clarity.
